The critical issue is the circular dependency. Red Circuit and Red Chip each require the other, as do Green Circuit and Blue Chip. You must hand-craft a small number of each to seed the loop before automation can sustain it. Once seeded, the Copper Cable line is the true bottleneck: every single circuit and chip in the chain consumes at least one Copper Cable per unit. Plan your Iron and Copper mining, smelting, and plate production to feed the Cable line at roughly 2–3× the rate your final Green Circuit demand requires. As the factory scales, the chain grows linearly in belt width. A common layout runs a wide Copper Cable belt into a row of Circuit Assemblers, with narrower Red Circuit, Red Chip, Blue Chip, and Green Circuit branches feeding back. The assemblers themselves are rarely the bottleneck unless you are producing tens of thousands of circuits per minute; the real constraints are upstream mining and the physical space the chain occupies.
